Theme: Whose Tune Are You Dancing To?

Internal influences and external limitations...

The ECCC invites you to join other co-active coaches on Friday 15th October 2010 for a day of learning, exploration and networking.
The day will include a series of empowering workshops that will deepen your understanding of meaningful and body-centered coaching. Registration 9.30a,, event close 6pm.

Our main focus this day is on the body and its frequencies: Whose tune are you dancing to when you are coaching?

Tango Coaching

led by Leni Christine Jebsen

Leni Christine Jebsen, CTI leader, PCC, CPCC, ORSCC and Managing Director/ CEO of C-Momentum AS will indulge us with a workshop of Tango & Coaching. It is a fun way of strengthening the coach’s awareness of self, the client, and what happens in the relationship.

This is an experiential workshop where you will work through the movements of Argentine Tango to deepen your presence and mindfulness as a coach, your ability to take charge, learning to lead by following, deeply listening to what happens within the relationship, to who and what is being influenced and to powerfully own who you are as a coach and human being.

Curiously looking at what you contribute by your way of being, you will walk away with new awareness to what you bring to the coaching relationship, where you hold yourself back and how to become more present in your coaching. It is a unique way of making the designed alliance come alive and impact the coaching relationship in healthy ways for yourself and your clients.

After having embodied the learning of tango into our coaching, we will move to a different tune:

Transpersonal Coaching

led by Karyn Prentice

Between living and dreaming
There is something else.
Guess what it is.

~ Antonio Machado

Karyn Prentice founded Fletcher-Prentice & Associates, which designs and delivers distinctive, memorable, personalised learning events, in 1995. These events include coaching, leadership programmes and workshops that are creative, stimulating and practical.

Passionate about coaching, she is a UKCP accredited transpersonal psychotherapist, Director of the Centre for Transpersonal Psychology, a qualified coach and accredited graduate of CSA. Her coaching and supervision practice serves private and corporate clients.

Transpersonal Coaching has always addressed itself to meaning-making, whatever the circumstances, and to enabling practitioners to create a sound container for their work - the ‘temenos’ that holds both the everyday and the archetypal.

This workshop introduces the benefits of the transpersonal - ie what lies beyond and between us as human beings. Following the theme of the day, Karyn will help us discover our own personal note: the music that dances us home.

Growing Your Coaching Practice

Last but not least, the ECCC will offer you the chance to make things real and make them happen! Put your experience into practice, and move to your own tune as a coach: there will be a session dedicated to ‘Growing Your Coaching Practice’ as a Co-active Coach.

The day wouldn't be complete without the amazing networking opportunities, not only during the day and at an organized lunch (for those who want to eat in the group), but particularly at the post-event PUB get together.
